Product Description
Scarguard Lightener is a unique and very effective combination of traditional medical lighteners and homeopathic.
Scarguard Lightener is a gel. After applying to the discolored area, it quickly penetrates leaving no residue on the surface to affect clothing.
This product can be used alone and is effective on darkened scars (brownish), age spots, freckles, liver spots, under eye circles, and essentially, any dark brownish discoloration. It can also be used in combination with our ScarCare® product for scars that are thick and raised and also darkened.

Scarguard Lightener Directions
Brush a small amount twice daily. Rub in.
Limit sun exposure and use a sunscreen, a sun blocking agent, or protective clothing to cover treated skin when using and after using this product in order to prevent darkening from reoccurring
Discontinue if symptoms persist more than 3 months
Children 12 years or younger - consult a doctor before use

Will Scarguard Lightener work on pigmented skin?
Scarguard Lightener is effective for any skin type or tone. On pigmented skin care should be taken to treat only the darkened area

Will sun exposure affect the results?
Avoiding direct sun exposure is an important factor in helping skin discoloration. Wear sun block and try to cover exposed areas.

How long does Scarguard Lightener take to work?
If Scarguard Lightener is used regularly, you should see improvement in 1-4 weeks. For some people results can take a longer or shorter time, depending on their particular skin type and the cause of the discoloration.

Can I use Scarguard Lightener if I am pregnant?
Pregnant women should not use Scarguard Lightener.

Can Scarguard Lightener be used on children?
Scarguard Lightener should only be used on children under the age of 12 after consulting a doctor.

How long should I use Scarguard Lightener?
Consult a doctor if discoloration worsens or persists more than 3 months.

Is Scarguard Lightener irritating?
If you have sensitive skin, it is suggested that you test for skin sensitivity before using by applying a small amount to an unbroken patch of skin; check in 24 hours. Minor redness is normal, but if there is itching or excessive inflammatory response consult your doctor.
